Then I connected the .XML-File to my InfoPath 2003 form. Everything worked fine.</p> <p>But now, everytime I want to connect the XML-File to a&nbsp;new form I receive the message that the textual content conatins an invalid character. I know that the invalid characters are the german umlauts (ä, ö, ü).</p> <p>The first row in my XML-file is <strong>&lt;?xml version=&quot;1.0&quot; encoding=&quot;UTF-8&quot; standalone=&quot;yes&quot;?&gt;</strong></p> <p>What am I doing wrong?
