DBXL can be used with mobile forms. While it is a 3rd party tool this is a viable solution for many of our customers who need to get XML data into SQL. You can find more information about DBXL here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/DBXL.aspx

I am new to infopath, but after 2 day's trying and searching I donot know if it can be easy solved:

I want to use Infopath/Sharepoint in a solution where smartphone users can use a form to submit data and foto's to a datacollection point (on sharepoint). It is not that dificult to get it working on a SQL database, but it is impossible to use blob datatypes in submitting forms, so SQL if not an option

Is there an alternative? The most comfertable solution would be to collect the data in a xcel workbook. (I already found the sample coding to do the download of the foto's, and will be able to point a cell to the foto). Is submitting to Excel that simple that nobody askes for it?

All the post I found are the other way arround, from excel to infopath. Hope you can help.

Gr
