one thing to note is that qRules is installed on your client machine where you are designing your InfoPath forms. Nothing is actually installed on the server.

If you are using InfoPath form services (browser forms) you will need to admin deploy the forms because qRules is code but you don't need your IT to install anything on the server for you.

There are a few other blogs out there on the Web that offer complicated solutions involving code. These solutions tend to be brittle and not flex very well when schema's change. If your willing to write up a 1-2 page testimonial on how qRules solved your problem (assuming it does), we can give you a complimentary license. Please look for the new qRules v2.3 trial in the next week (or send email to Support (at) Qdabra (dot) com if you need something faster).

Cheers!

Re: Submitting to both List and Library?

Hello,

I am using WSS 3. I understand that qRules is quite helpful, but I am not the administrator as this is in an enterprise environment. I have no control over that!

Is there anything you can reference which might give me more insight?

Thank you

Re: Submitting to both List and Library?

Hi there, what version of SharePoint are you using?

You can do what you want to do and it's becoming more common all the time. Our qRules tool makes it easy to do.

If you are using SharePoint 2010 linking those web parts together with the document library is very easy!
