I'm having a problem with the namespace prefix that is assigned as default in InfoPath 2003. When designing a form template in infopath, the default namespace prefix is set to “my:”. Because of this, all of the fields in my output XML file contain the prefix “my:” in front of every field.

I am trying to remove the default prefix altogether so that my output fields will appear without “my:” in front of them (so that another program I use can recognize the fields). Is there any way to do this? I’ve tried following a couple of posts that have appeared online, but have not succeeded yet.

I am using InfoPath 2003 on designing this form template. Let me know if you need any further information, and hopefully someone can help me!

Thanks,
J. Aziz
