(sigh) You make it seem so simple. ;)

Re: Referencing node attribute in OuterXML?

Did you try "@Facility_Room"?

Referencing node attribute in OuterXML?

Hello,

I have the following OuterXML:

"<dfs:Room_Descriptions xmlns:dfs="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/dataFormSolution" Facility_Room="ABC" Facility="Building1" Room="F2"/>"

The code watch I executed shows the OuterXML is stored as a string.

I tried:

Dim NI As System.Xml.XPath.XPathNodeIterator (NI has the OuterXML posted above)
Dim DNode As Xml.XPath.XPathNavigator
DNode = NI.Current.SelectSingleNode("//Facility_Room")

but DNode returns nothing. Any thoughts? I could parse the string, but I figured there is an XPath option that I am missing.

Thanks in advance,
