In the properties of the field for the &#39;default value&#39; I have selected the fx button and then selected &#39;Insert Function&#39; and&nbsp;selected date &gt; today. This puts today() in the formula. </p> <p>When I preview the form it shows the date with a dotted red box, indicating something is wrong. When I run the design checker from the file menu it does not specify any error. </p> <p>&nbsp;Additionally,the formatting is not as I specified in the properties. It is 2010-08-04 instead of 04/08/2010. </p> <p>&nbsp;Can someone please help me undersand how to get a date on the form formatted correctly. </p> <p>&nbsp;Thank you.</p>
