Instead of using the xpath to the user alias, you might need to use the current() function to get and use the current value of the field.

Hope this helps!

Multiple entries in a table?

I'm trying to set up a simple infopath template that has a data connection to an employee listing on Sharepoint. On the Infopath template I want to be able to type the employee number in a field and other related information on them e.g. name, address etc. auto-populate from this field. The template will of course have additional information for the purpose of the specific tracker i'm using it for.

I've set up a repeating table and when I type in the first pay number it brings up the correct information, but when I add another entry it brings up the information from the first person, even though i've typed in a new pay number.

Any advice on how I should be setting this up? Is it possible to have multiple entries on the same infopath template or do I have to just create a new form for each person i'm adding to my tracker?
