One SP list is just a list of "Categories", the other is a list of "Rule Names" and their associated "Categories". The Categories field in the second list is a lookup column with the "Allow multiple selections" option checked. Below is the form to help visualize.

List of Rules pulls its data from the "Rules" dataset and Rule Categories pulls from the "Categories" dataset.

When I select a rule from the List of Rules I want it to check checkboxes based on what categories are associated with it. At this point when I set the rule for when List of Rules changes, I can get it to select the first category associated but not the others (i.e. Enterprise Admins is selected but not Router (which is the second category associated with the rule). The value returned is simply 1. The routers ID is 13.

I aslo want to be able to check or uncheck boxes and then update the Rules record. I think once I can get the data on the screen I will be able to make the update piece work (using CAML).

Is there an easier way to do this? I can set the rule up to where it returns both values but it doesn't separate them with any delimiter, just one solid number (i.e. Enterprise Admins ID is 1 and Routers ID is 13 this rule returns 113)
