you can create picking slips and delivery dockets also. It all depends on the expertise you have in Infopath.

Repeating table is just a table that has an added facility of able to add/remove rows at run time.

you can use Pro InfoPath 2007. It should be avaible free on the net

Re: Infopath as a Sales and stock Control System????

Ok so if I copy all my forms onto one massive Print form, how and where do I set up the conditional formatting?

When this has been done, will my print copy have big gaps where the views were or will they all list under each other as each one is selcted?

If I use infopath to create an order based on info taken from a SQL data base will it then allow me to create picking slips and delivery dockets based on the information entered.

How can i use a repeating table to allow for unlimited quantities to be entered? Im not sure how they work?

Can you recommend any books etc that will help me with InfoPath as I am a self taught user will very little idea still.

Sorry to be firing all these questions....

Re: Infopath as a Sales and stock Control System????

yes InfoPath can do this, and InfoPath can do pretty much anything that comes in office forms, the only thing that limits us is our thinking and hold on infopath.

you will need to create one more view on the form, having contents of all the form, and have conditional formatting on the items, make them visible only if they were selected in the other views.

Infopath as a Sales and stock Control System????

I am currently trying to use Infopath to manage an inventory of approx 5000 items, breaking these up into approx 50 sub categories.

I need infopath to give me a sales docket, delivery docket etc depending on what items are selected throughout the form, printed onto a single sheet if possible.

I currently have each category broken up into many views.

Can infopath do this?
