Hello Ted and thank you for the link. I did everything but I get a number of errors when I am at the coding part. Do I need to modify the statement with anything?

There are a number of different ways you can do this.

No they are not, just opening the form up from a shared location.

Hello! I am new to infopath but I am starting to use it more often at clients request. My scenario is I have a client who write a large number of Purchase Orders and they would like to start using infopath to perform this action. My question is when a user opens the PO form how can I get a field to Auto generate a incremental sequential number?
