Thank you for replying! I made a questionaire about administrative problems. I would like to know to what degree these problems play at the different departments in the company. I really am a newby in Infopath and not yet skilled enough to semi-automatically process the respons. The idea was: in the first question I ask what department they work on, the other questions are about possible problems they experience (same questions for each department). I was wondering if I could get all the respons in an excel sheet, such that the answers would be categorized according to department. This way I can compaire departments and see where the problem is the biggest, and need to start solving it. Instead I opted to proces the respons manually. I published the questionaire on Sharepoint, and people send a filled-in version back to me as an attachment. I am sure it is not the most efficient way... but it works untill I get wiser.

Greets & regards,

If so, you may want to use a secondary data source to provide the correct questions for each department....

How to group answers

Hi hello, I am setting up a questionnaire on Sharepoint to be filled in by different departments with Infopath 2003. The idea is to collect information and than compare the departments on how they answered the questions. In the first question they have to select what department they are working on. How can I set up the data source, so that it collects the answers on following questions separate for each department? With kind regards,
