It allows you to add signature images into your InfoPath solutions. Here's a blog post with instructions on how to create and set it up. To make it repeating, please refer to this blog post.

Hope that helps!

How to require user authorization for name entry?

I couldn't find anything like this already written up in the forum here, so please forgive me for what is probably a very basic question / function.

We're building an event logging form in InfoPath 2007 that will link to a list in SharePoint 2007. This will be a single form that will be filled out over the course of a 24 hour period and then submitted when complete. It will be filled in by various operators as they come on and off shift. We're looking to have some sort of function in the form where a new operator would click a box or button and then input a password or "PIN" that would then put their name in the "Operator" name box to show who was on duty. We need to do it in this way or some similar way that ensure that we can authenticate / audit who was actually on duty - so in other words, just having someone type in their name won't do because anyone could then enter anyone's name.

So to an extent, I'm looking to do a repeated signature entry or something of the sort so that we would know that each operator's name on the log each day was actually entered by that operator and not someone else.

Thanks.
