sometimes it is the easy solution. i'll work on it and report back

(instead of using a dropdown).

Have one row for each of the four options, and the user just types in a time for the row they want to fill out. :-)

Filter Drop Down based on previous events

I am back on infopath projects and for some reason am stumped on a simple process. This is a simple logging form for when an employee gets to work, leaves and returns from lunch and leaves for the day. I am saving all data back to sql for future integration with other applications/projects and reporting needs.

I have the web services created, stored procedures created just fine. What i am having problems with is we want employees to only be able to log 4 records per day: Start Day, Out for Lunch, In from Lunch, Out for Day. These options in a drop down currently.

I want to filter out which events an employee has already submitted. I don't want to limit it in a particular order, just if an employee at 9:00am logs the event for start day, next time they go in should only see options for Out for lunch, in from lunch and out for day. So on for each event.

Some reason this has me stumped....suggestions?

Thanks!
