I am new to InfoPath and am trying to create a form which will connect to Access. I have the Access database set up and working like I want, but need to be able to fill out a form while out in the field and email submit it to the Access Database. I have created a form template according to Microsoft's instructions using the data connection wizard, and have some data fields in the form). I have saved the form then published it. I believe I need to go into the main connection (under tools/ data connections* see below ) and enable submit for this connection, but it is greyed out. I am trying this all on one computer at this time, but will need to be able to email it to other users in the future.

Step 1: Enable the submit data connection

On the Tools menu, click Data Connections.

In the Data Connections dialog box, click the main data connection, and then click Modify.

In the Data Connection Wizard, click Next.

On the next page of the wizard, select the Enable submit for this connection check box, and then click Finish.

I have been struggling with this and just don't know what I am doing wrong. I can create a form within Access which works properly, but I don't see any way to modify it with the layout I want (and is probably a topic for a different forum). So I thought I'd use InfoPath but it's not working for me. Any help will be appreciated.
