What version of SharePoint are you using? For WSS 3.0, under the settings for the form library, you can go to the<strong> Permissions for this form library</strong> link and under <strong>Actions</strong> select <strong>Edit Permissions</strong>, which will break permissions inheritance from the site. Select the top checkbox (the one that selects all the groups) then, under the <strong>Actions </strong>menu, select <strong>Edit User Permissions</strong>. This will take you to a new page, where you can set all those groups to have &#39;read only&#39; permissions on your &#39;archive&#39; library.</p>https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/45739.aspxTue, 11 Aug 2009 12:39:42 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:45739brobins750https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/45739.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=39&PostID=45739<p>sounds simple, but im a newbie.&nbsp; I have a form in a library, and when the end user hits submit it is saved in another library called the &quot;archive&quot;.&nbsp; the form is a simple daily checklist that goes no further.&nbsp; it is intended to be a record of a daily check.&nbsp; I want anyone to be able to view the archive, but the way it is setup, anyone can delete it as well.&nbsp; I tried to set permissions, but none seem to fit.&nbsp; I have the form set up with a formula that produces a unique filename and the same filename cannot be used more than once.&nbsp; so at least they cant go back and change their form.&nbsp; but they can delete it.&nbsp; is there anyway when i design the form to protect it after it is submitted?&nbsp; i think this is a dumb question and probably has nothing to do with infopath, but i cant figure it out!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>thanks</p>
