Thanks for hanging in there. Have you looked at using XML Smart Documents? In other words, binding Word to an XML using an XML Schema? Then, you can save your forms to a server and have Word open them. That's a lot easier than going through Excel.

Unfortunately, we're not Excel and Word MVPs here. This forum is for InfoPath. You could use VBA automation to insert the fields from Excel to Word.

But, why do you need to use Word? Is it for better printing?

Maybe InfoPath is the wrong tool for you.

I want to export my InfoPath form to excel and onto word transparently How??

Hi,

I have developed a system in InfoPath. I have exported the form (and the forms contents only) to Excel.

I had a query, but solved it in the Excel macros.

But I now notice that there is no direct way to export from Excel to Word.

Do you know how to do this export to Word, from Excel.

As you said Patrick, there is no easy way from InfoPath.

I have a MS Access database. Couldn't work out how to get an SQL database created.
I have the server running on my machine. I thought I would export or transfer all the access data to SQL.

I think 12 years or more ago, I designed a script, to interface between Excel and Word.

Does anyone have any clues to help. I.E. any new, or better, or easier options available.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Ian
