Class C seems easy?

I'm not sure what you mean by "Class C." C# is based off of C++ and Java, and by extension, C, so if you know C++ it should be easy enough to learn enough of the basics. There are probably some free tutorials online that can teach you enough about C# to get you started. You'll need to learn about the XPathNavigator class (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.xml.xpath.xpathnavigator.aspx), which is at the heart of InfoPath programming.

You only need to know one of the languages that InfoPath supports (C#, VB, JScript, VBScript), not all of them.

Familiarity with the Microsoft Visual Studio integrated development environment (IDE) - Not even sure how to start this. I think it is a link in an applicn.

A version of Visual Studio (Visual Studio Tools for Applications) is bundled with InfoPath 2007 and is opened up any time you add an event handler to a field in your form. I don't think a whole lot of "familiarity" is necessary. Just see it as a code/text editor and that should be enough to get started.

Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory directory service and Microsoft Exchange 2000 - What is this? I thought it was a virus

These are not viruses, but there is no need to know anything about these in order to program in InfoPath.

Re: I have avoided the Tools/Programming functions.
Am deep up to my nexk with this development.

I still want to go over and develop my skills in .Net , VB , IDE , and Class C.

Been too busy elsewhere at the moment. So haven't developed my skills with any of the above.

Looks like I've got months of work ahead of me,

trying to find out how to use the code inserts.

As per the following Prerequisites in the lookup you referenced

Understanding of Microsoft Visual C# or Microsoft Visual Basic .NET - I have learnt C Cplus in the past. Class C seems easy?

Familiarity with the Microsoft Visual Studio integrated development environment (IDE) - Not even sure how to start this. I think it is a link in an applicn.

Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory directory service and Microsoft Exchange 2000 - What is this? I thought it was a virus

Ian

Completion of Lab 5: Using Business Logic in InfoPath 2003 - This is elementary.

I have avoided what appears to be program generators in VB, or class C, or whatever.

And as the suggestions says "enter your code here" , I would not know where to begin.

Can anyone sterr me in the direction to learn more about what I can do there?

And how do I get to see what code has been generated for an InfoPath form that is created?
