Thanks for taking this up for me. I did something funny and this worked.

I created a new list with the same fields, and changed the list name alone and republished the form and the repeating table data posted into the SharePoint list. There was nothing different that I did!!!

Sometimes cmoplex problems have simple solutions!

Regards

Since S.Y.M. Wong-A-Ton wrote the post, maybe you should try asking her. We advise people not to use code and have tools for saving forms to SQL and then recommend people use data views on top of SQL to show the data. If you have SQL, you could do this. It would be a lot simpler and easier to maintain, but then it's not the solution you chose. If you have access to SQL and are admin on the SharePoint site, you could download the free trial of DBXL and set it up.

In the meantime, I will send e-mail to S.Y.M. Wong-A-Ton and ask her to respond to this post.

Cheers!

Publishing a repeating table data to Sharepoint List

I have an infopath form that does the following.

1. A User fills out a form including a repeating table and submits the form. The user does not see a particular column in that repeating table then. He submits the form to form library 1.

2. After approval, the form moves to a helpdesk that fills out that particular column and submits again. This form needs to be republished with the changed version into form library 1 and the contents of the repeating table need to be published to list library 2.

Now I designed the views and the submission which is working fine. I followed the steps outlined in the below post to publish the repeating table to a list.

http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/how-to-submit-items-rows-repeating-table-infopath-sharepoint-list.htm

Everything seems to be working fine with the form, except that list 2 is not getting populated.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards
