Yes, after you have opened the .xsf in the InfoPath designer, you should File->Save As... into a new .xsn file.

OK, now I'm just all-out confused...

I cleaned up manifest.xsf again, but this time when I opened manifest in design mode, I tried to get into the script editor and got VBScript, like my drop-down in Options says. When I go back to my .xsn file, I still get JScript (even though the drop-down says VBScript). So what do I do here? Just save the .xsf as an .xsn and start using it instead?

Script Editor opening in wrong language - Infopath 2003

Hi, everyone. I've got a form that I'd like to add some VBScript to. My scripting language is set to VBScript, but the editor opens script.js instead. I've tried the Microsoft instructions for cleaning Manifest.xsf, but it hasn't helped. Can anyone tell me what's possessing my form?! Thank you!
