I'm new to your community and I need some help. I'm an estimation engineer and I'm using infopath forms to make the work procdures in the department more automated, I have no Experiance of any kind in programming, which increases my troubles. I have started to design the forms and I have gone a long stroke with it unitl some of these "cannot be solved and needs programming" appeared, so I would really love to get support with the least amount of programming if a "NO programming" solution cannot be found.

1- the first problem I'm having is with the view that appears when the form is opened, it is not the view that I want the user to start with, although I have set the default View to the View that I want But it doesn't change.

2- the second trouble I'm having needs some explaining:

the form is connected to a data base, the user will use this specific form to select items that complies with the specifications that s/he desires, and I figured how to set a repeating table that view all the items that complies with the specifications and what I want now is for the user to hit a button called "select" and the data in this row of the repeating table is automatically transfered to another repeating table, which I figured it out using Master/detail control but I need the user to be able of selecting several materials and I need them all to be transfered to the selected Items repeating table, and what happens is that only one row of the selected items table appears and each time I hit the "select" button the data keeps overwrite on each other in the same row.

3- Finally, I need to customize a way to filter data using drop down menus that actually depends on each other.

in the form that I'm designing I want the user to first enter his selected option out of a drop-down menu and according to his entered option the next drop down menu will change the set of options that it displays, for example: if the user entered "Pressure" as the option in the first drop down menu the next drop down menu should contain only two options either "static pressure" or "differential pressure"

I would really use some help over this, because I'm really stuck here for about a week now.

thanks
