Not an Infopath problem at all. Belongs to Sharepoint. There is a re-link feature in the customize library/permissions and management. This appears to re-connect document forms to the database. Still a bit of work but not nearly as much as individual queries and submisions.

Sorry for posting here but perhaps someone else will encounter the same problem.

I'm actually using a Library, not a list. That may be part of my limitation. The information is in an Access database and I had thought that they were sync'ed. I'm getting a better idea of the architecture now and someone may be able to tell me if this is right. Infopath populates an XML form and uploads the data to an access database. The published form tells Sharepoint where to look for information in the XML form (not the database). Therefore, when the form connnections changed, Sharepoint no longer knew what to display. If had used a custom list,

All that said, anyone know how to do a "bulk" Infopath re-fresh on 600 XML forms?

Thanks.

Re: Data not visible in Sharepoint Library

Hello Jdaniels,

There is no way to repost the data with SharePoint alone. Once the data point is disconnected, Sharepoint doesn't "see" it until that form is exposed again. You would have to go through and open each form and repopulate the field that way, the way you have been doing it. If you have stored the data from your list in an Access database, you should be able to repopulate the list with that data, especially if it was set to synch with the database automatically. Hope this helps.

Data not visible in Sharepoint Library

I'm new to this forum and would appreciate some guidance. Not sure if this problem is Sharepoint or Infopath.

I have a data library which is populated by an Infopath form. The form does quiries and submission with 80+ fields. Have had it running for about a year, no problems. I modified the form last week and re-published it. I had accidentally un-checked one of the fields when I was making the data conections. Went back and re-connected the field but the data did not repopulate automatically to the Sharepoint view. All the records in the database have this field populated but the only way to get Sharepoint to "see" the data is to query each record and re-post the data.

My question(s) are: Is there something in Infopath I've inadvertantly turned off or more impartantly, is there a way to do a bulk query/re-post fo the data eitehr through Infopath, Sharepont or Access.

Thoughts or comments appreciated.
