I think you are using option buttons for the choices. Add a rule to all option buttons as if(optionbutton1 = ‘High' or optionbutton2 = ‘High' or..) then set a fields value (ex: severity) to ‘High'.

Formula - Function Help

Hi all,

I'm trying to put together a formula to return the "Highest" severity recorded in a form. The users have 4 choices: Negligible (1), Low (2), Medium (3), High (4). There are 10 questions on the form, if the user picks "Low" for nine questions, and picks High on one question, the formula should return a total value of "High". l I've been trying to get the right combination of rules, conditional displays, and formulas to make it work, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Can any of you out there point me in the right direction?

I'm using InfoPath 2007 sp1, and I'm publishing the form to SharePoint 2007 as a web form.

Thanks,
