Yes you have to add the expression box with your hard coded text. Let me explain clearly,

Auto hide in print view, you do not insert any separate row which have the conditional formatting. In this case if you are not displaying any data in that row it should display empty row in print view.

In table minimum size is 4 px. If you want to reduce it then you have to remove that column and add the padding to other cells in that table.

Re: How can I auto hide a line in print view

I am not clear on what you are trying to say.

But, I am thinking that you mean, if I add an expression box to the Form, I can manage the outcome in the print view, is that what you are implying?

Re: How can I auto hide a line in print view

Hello,

We don't have a option to hide the hard coded text directly. For this we have to add the expression box with your text box control text or that text in one section. Then we can add the conditional formatting for expression box of section depends on your condition.

How can I auto hide a line in print view

I am a newbie. And discovering things new, and missed, all the time.

I have highlighted my entire PrintView, set the all lines to autosize.

But firstly, I notice that the minimum size is 4px.

Secondly, is this sizing dependent on the row being empty of data?

I have learnt that hard coded text on a form can be easily coppied to a Print View.

But, how can I hide that row, if there is hard coded text in the line along with hidden controls
(i.e. unchecked checkboxes, or unused drop down boxes etc)????
