I consider the problem resolved.

Thanks for your response anyhow Shiva.
Ian

Re: Trouble calling infopath form from Visual Basic screen menu

Shiva,

No I have no luck this evening, trying to connect to VS2008.

I have developed Infopath forms in the InfoPath application.
A very grey to black area the VS, at the moment.

If InfoPath and VB are compatible applications surely there must be an easy link.

If not closely compatible, what functions or processes can I use to call up an InfoPath Form?

Thanks if you can help

Ian

Re: Trouble calling infopath form from Visual Basic screen menu

Yes I connected to a
isCRIBD

VisualStudio2008-ProductComparison-v1 08 screen.

Any clues where I shall look. I am presuming that the code I require, or rules will be buried in there, somewhere.

I found attach processes local and remote computers, but that was only for debugging.

I have been flicking around the MS VB help screen for weeks, to no joy.
The closest I think I got to was using a shell process, but that fails.
Then I found a call function, but that appears to fail as well.
Earlier, I copied and lost and now can't find some code someone suggest before.

I think it was VB06

Any clues please Anuma

Re: Trouble calling infopath form from Visual Basic screen menu

Hi,

Have some experience of VB in 1997, not much since and a little in C++.
I have been learning to develop IP forms and want to resolve a problem.

My issue is :-

I would like to use a 2008 visual basic menu with buttons for calling different infopath forms.
But I am not sure what VB functions or procedure to follow.

I have set up a VB screen with 3 buttons, 1 is exit, the 2 are form calls. The only function working so far is the EXIT.

Can you help?? Do you have any suggestions?
