One work around is place all the text boxes in the repeating table. And select the same format controls by holding the ctrl button and then set the properties.

Re: Matching the Properties of a Text Box

Hello,

If you have more than 1200 fields it will be hard to copy and past and rebind those fields. This is not easy to do without Format Painter for text box control. Is it working using Format Painter for other forms in your machine? Is this problem for only your form?

Re: Matching the Properties of a Text Box

I'll give that a shot, wish I could just use the Format Painter button, it would make things easier, or if you could format each column then I would save quite a few hours of mouse clicks. Also, my InfoPath form is upto 1200 fields is this getting out of hand?

Re: Matching the Properties of a Text Box

Hello,

We can copy and paste the text box where do you want that format for another text box. And change the binding of that text box to your field. Then automatically your formatting properties will be aplicable to your new field. Like that you can do bulk copy and paste it. In this you have to do only binding changing from old to your new field binding.

Matching the Properties of a Text Box

I have several text boxes in a table. The first text box will be formatted with a whole number, justify to the right, the next is text string, justify left, next is the a whole number, justify right, same for the next box whole number/justify right, then the last box is a whole number, justify right, read only. Now if I only had these it would be simple, but I have a ton of these boxes in each table. Right now I have to go thru each box and make sure it's setup correctly. I tried Format Painter button but it doesn't work with text boxes. Is there an easier way to do this?

Table looks like this:

| 1| Room Space | 2| 50| 100|Comments |
