Here is a really good blog post that Matt Faus wrote that will help you optimize performance when a large dataset is displayed in InfoPath:

http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/01/09/Create-a-Multi_2D00_View-Master_2F00_Detail-using-a-Query-Filter.aspx

and this thread discussing how using webservices will allow you to do paging:

http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/8165/29589.aspx#29589

hope this gets you started in the right direction

I have a 2003 form that lists records from a SQL database. Since 2003 renters the entire page in a single xml file, long lists can take quite a while to display.

I searched on page breaks here and am more confused than when I started.

Is there a way to insert of force a page break after so many rows?

Thanks
