I used data connection wizard to connect to webservice. I can retrieve the value offline. but when i try publish it in the sharepoint site it throws an error 5566 and says Continue or start over. if i give continue the username textfield for which the webservice is used is shown blank.

later i figured out that when i have mutliple browser open at the same time in sharepoint with different user login, then the problem arises.

But i need to figure for a work around in using such webservice.

Re: Active Directory in infopath Webforms

Are you getting an actual error in the Design Checker or just a warning with an info icon (blue) next to it? If it were a red error, it would tell you when you publish.

I ve used web service http://share/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx (GetUserProfileByName) and i m able to retrive the first name and last name offline. When i hit the design checker to verify error it shows 'Data Connection contains parameterized queries'. And when i publish the page in the WSS 3.0 site the page opens with an error. Why is it so?
