Hi,

I tried this one. But I am able to submit all the records in master table in submit view, not only first item on the Master table. Can you verify it once and get back with more information.

Folks;

I designed a form that has 2 views, a search view where users can enter search criteria hit a query button and get a bunch of results on a

Master/Detail GUI component. Second view is used to submit... but I still need to resolve the following;

If my search resturns more than one item, the only way I can submit (for modifications) an item that is NOT the first one on the Master list, is to remove from the Master list ALL items that are above my item of interest. Put another way, InfoPath seems to always be working on the first item returned to a Master GUI control (or Master table)

Anybody knows a way that would Submit NOT the first item on the Master table, but the Item that is actually select/displayed on the accompaining Detail table (I.E. the one that is selected on the Master table) ?
