The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: Main connection

InfoPath cannot run the specified query.

InfoPath cannot connect to the data source.

InfoPath has encountered an error.

The operation failed.

I have tried a multitude of things to overcome this problem to no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have come a long way on this form and this is the last step (outside of a bit more QA) before production and I am dead in the water. I am not sure that I understand why deploying a form is so unblievably difficult!

Re: Query cannot be run for the following dataobject error...

Hi Ed,

InfoPath 2007 should query data from an Access database. Can you post the rest of the error? This looks like an issue with the database and not with InfoPath.

Query cannot be run for the following dataobject error...

Our installation uses Infopath 2003. We have 2 users that are unable to load Infopath forms that have connections to an access database. I recently found out they have Infopath 2007. They receive the error "THE QUERY CANNOT BE RUN FOR THE FOLLOWING DATAOBJECT: Then the name of the table (from the Access database) appears. INFOPATH CANNOT RUN THE SPECIFIED QUERY. INFOPATH CANNOT CONNECT TO THE DATA SOURCE. INFOPATH HAS ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR....

Does anyone know what's going on here.
