Copy your entire view to the new view.

Go into view properties and set the view to read only.

Then go into form options and open rules and make a conditional rule.

If the last field is not blank

Switch to new view.

That way if a person tries to open a completed form they get the read only view.

Emailing a Read-Only Form

Hi all,

I have created an InfoPath form that when submitted writes the inputs to a database and also emails a copy of the form to the user if they desire a copy. The problem is that if they have InfoPath they can edit/change the content of the form they receive via email. We are worried someone may try and pull a fast one and try changing the data and print a copy to show some other input. We are using InfoPath 2007 and only want the submitter to receive a read-only copy in their email. It should also be noted that the majority of the recipients will not have access to our SharePoint enclave once they have submitted the initial report.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,
