You have to set the button to postback otherwise you get an error

Re: What is the maximum size of a xml file

Hello

I use code to load the data for every element in the xml file i add a new repeating table. But because i have so much elements and also a lot of repeating table items.
i do not make al the items in the table visible. i hide some of the content and when the user pushes a button the other contents shows. But when i do this i get the following error in the
browser when i use forms services " Error: 'null' is null or not an object. and i dont know why that is when i am running the form in infopath all goes well. I think it has to do with the paging i use

Do you have any idea how this can be solved

There is no limit for xml size. If you are used big xml then InfoPath takes more time.

How you are doing for loading the data using Rule or code? If you are write code for loading then better to not use any rule on those fields. You can convert that rule to code because first InfoPath executes the Rule and after that code. If this will conflict then you will get the error.

After converting all rules to code also if you will get any error then give us what is your code or error description.

What is the maximum size of a xml file

I am loading an xml file into infopath 2007 as a datasource. This file is very simple it has about 207 elements.

the xml is included in the xsn file. I programmticly go through the file using xpath and make a new checkbox for every

Rule in the xml file when i do this in infopath on the client pc all goes well but when it loads in forms service it is very slow and it gives javascript errors.

how can that be ?? I tried to solve the problem by making different pages but this doesnt seem to speed up anything at all.

Is there any way this could go more smooth in infopath ??
