This formula in an expression box should do the trick:

substring-before(substring-after(/processing-instruction()[local-name(.) = "mso-infoPathSolution"], 'solutionVersion="'), '"')

Putting the form's version number on the form

I'd like to display the version number of the form on the form itself. Kind of a quick check on which version the user is using. Is there a way I can get the form's version number onto the form?
