I'm currently developing a new form in Infopath that will be used a mobile device. So far I have been using the instructions at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb251745.aspx however I have ran into an issue which I haven’t been able to get around.

I have successfully completed the lab in the above URL however the form I'm developing is a little different, it has a pull down menu which retrieves data from a SharePoint list using a standard data connection. When testing the form in SharePoint using the standard view all works well and the form successfully submits the data. However when using the mobile view the form displays ok but I get an error “Unknown Error” from SharePoint when clicking on either of the Submit or Close buttons.

The problem seems to be related to the data connection used in the pull down menu because if I use the same form and remove the data connection on the pull down menu then manually enter some data the form submits data ok.

If any one has any ideas please sent them through as I havn't been able to find anything on the net so far.

Cheers,

Ben
