Hello,

Can you check once whichever you are trying dropdown field is available in template.xml or not? If that dropdown field node is not available then you have to add manually and save that template.xml file and try to open the form then you can see that field is editable.

Please help. I have spent a week designing a form on Infopath. It links to a database that is used by our I.T. Staff. After creating the form I have noticed a small problem. One of my fields (a drop down box) is read only. It is bound to a field that stores a number, and looks up its value from a secondary data source. I tried re-creating the drop down list box but the same thing happened. I then changed it to a text box and again the same thing happened (read only). I then deleted everything else in the form so there was just one box left, still read-only. I have figured that it must be something to do with the data source but I can't find out why?

Any help
