I know you've got several posts going on this right now, but I have to say the same thing everyone else is -- Word print views are hard. If you are using InfoPath 2007, this blog post might help you. If you are using 2003, try this.

Re: Hi Hilary, further to your comment about Word Print View

Hi Hilary, again, it has been a lojng time since I last used the InfoPath. Seems, I am in a stalemate with progressing the InfoPath Print View into a Word.

My client has now asked to effectivey DUMP InfoPath and just use the access database to construct the word document.

The idea behind using WORD is, the secretary needs to brush up the appearance of the document produced.

Now I have slaved over 5 months, trying to get things working. WITH no pay. And I am pretty cheesed off. I am even reluctant to continue in the path the client would like.

BUT, if I could some how build an InfoPath to Word pprint view interface, that would allow the secretary to edit the document, that would make my day.

On that basis, how do I constuct that XML interface (or whatever) to achieve my goal????

Really looking forweard to a favourable response to my problem.

I am floundering around the web trying to sort out how to get word print view working.

I have a large form, as I mentioned to you weeks ago, I have split up the large table, now have to load all the supplier detail into the customer purchase order, as I cannot seem to get a database submit on the form. Anyway I am working around that problem.

My BIG , and urgent problem now is, how to down load an xslt form an SDK data and eventually getting Word Print View to work.

It is a multi-step process -- you can use the InfoPath to Word Wizard to create the Word Print View, and then you can add the resulting view to InfoPath. Did you have a chance to try following the steps in the link? It looks a little complex and kind of intimidating at first, but it isn't too bad once you get into it...

Re: Header

I am still not clear about this.
