Best practice is to break your paper-based thinking and use more of a wizard style collection.

Use multiple views and a next button which takes the user to the next view for completion. You can also conditionally hide sections or items so that they are not visible unless needed based upon the user or other values.

Since it is all on the screen the concept of landscape or portrait is not real relevant since you can size everything the way you need it.

Re: How do I let user choose option of portrait or landscape view

I would like to be able to have the option of filling out the form in the landscape view so that they have more room to write. how would i do this?

Re: How do I let user choose option of portrait or landscape view

Are you referring to whether to print in one of these layouts.

I believe you would need to create a print view for each layout and then allow them the option to switch via a button to either view and then print.

How do I let user choose option of portrait or landscape view

I am creating a form and have it completed but I want to make it allow the user to choose the option of a portrait view or a landscape view.
