Thanks for the reply.

Is there a way I can send you the mdb file in zipped format to explain further?

Thanks,

1 - make sure you have sample data in each of your three tables when you create the form, InfoPath uses that to set up the fields etc.

2 - Once you have the default form from the wizard.

You can add values to the query fields and then execute a query to load a record from the DB into the data fields.

You then must either edit the loaded record or insert a new record and update the values or have default values.

The submit will not complete if you have not modified the loaded data or if the new data is blank.

I would play with the sample form a bit more and verify you understand how to query, update, and insert new records to the database.

Infopath with Access

Dear All,

I have created a small database in MS Access with three tables.

Customers (ID and NAME)

Sales (ID, CUSTOMER_ID, REVENUE)

Purchases (ID, CUSTOMER_ID, TURNOVER)

In MS Access these tables are linked via the Customers.ID, Sales.CUSTOMER_ID and Purchases.CUSTOMER_ID.

I have tried to create a form in Infopath to capture this data.

However upon submission, I am getting the following:

"Empty row cannot be inserted. Row must have at least one column value set."

Any ideas???

Thanks
