Thanks for your message, I forgot to update at here. I found the true kernel of the qustion is I hadn't install the Service Pack.

It isn't appeare "Insert Function" in the field properties before I install the Service Pack1.

Add a text field or text box control on the view, go the the text field properties to see the Rules and selecting function button beside the default value text box, pop up's "Insert Formula" dialog box with "Insert Function" button.

Hi,

I have some trouble with InfoPath 2003.

In the InfoPath 2007, we can using the "Insert Function" or "Rule" on the form to help us perform the task.But i can't find those in the InfoPath 2003.

Maybe i lose something to install, at this moment I just install InfoPath 2003 on my PC, whether need install some Service Pack?

Because I learn the InfoPath begin with 2007, so feel very strangeness with 2003.

Can some one give me any advice? Thanks in advance.
