You could use text or numerical values (i.e. STATE: 1 = Requestor, 2 = Approver, 3 = Notification).

Then in your open rules (Tools | Form Options), you would look to see what state the form is in, and switch to the appropriate view.

Switching Views

I have 3 views in a form on SharePoint. Requestor View, Approver View, and Notification View.

The requestor opens up the form in Requestor View and hits submit which then emails the form to an approver in Approver View. This works perfectly. When the Approver hits submit, it should do 2 things:

Email the Requestor in the Notification View

Update the data to SharePoint.

The Notification View is a read only version of the Approver View minus the submit button. For some reason, when hitting submit from the Approver View, its not switching over to the Notification view so the Requestor gets a fully operating form. I have user roles setup for the Requestor and Approver views. Do I need another for the Notification View?
