The basic database connectivity in InfoPath has limitations as you have encountered.

InfoPath was designed to use web services and they give you all of the functionality.

You can both query and submit to multiple tables.

Send me an email and I could show you some examples.

Two different queries to the SQL database in InfoPath 2003

Does anyone know if it's possible to run 2 separate queries in InfoPath 2003 to a SQL Server 2000 database?
I can get the first one up and running but then I want a second query which queries a different table. So I change my main connection to add a new table, but it will ask for a relationship. These two tables are not necessary related. So how would you add new table to query it?
