I'm afraid I have no idea how to write code for the forms so I guess I'll have to forget this option.

Thank you for your help anyway.

C# or VB.NET) to save your file to disk. There should be plenty of examples of how to write managed code to save a file to disk available on the Web for your favorite programming language.

Doing this will likely require you to have a full-trust form.

Save to default network file location with a button on a form

Hi there,

I need to put a button on the end of my form that automatically saves the completed form into a specified (same every time) network file location. I've tried setting up a Data Connection but it only points to a Web service, email or Sharepoint form library, not a network file location (unless I can somehow use one of these to do that? If so, I don't know how to). I looked at the Submit Options but again, it seems to need a data connection so it has the same problem and also I would like the button on the form itself, not on the toolbar. I feel like I'm missing something obvious - am I?

Thanks in anticipation of someone being able to help :-)
