I have followed the instructions using the contact selector but when I test the form to validate the name on the Select Name Dialog Box I receive ths error "Search Failed". Have you heard of this or can offer any suggestions ?

Go to your controls list in Design tasks.

Down at the bottom Add custom Control link.

Choose Add

Choose Active X

Select Contact Selector.

I know I have seen step by step tutorials out on the web for configuring this. it requires some special data structures.

Can you tell me where that control is located ? Do I go into InfoPath or Outlook ?

In 2007 there is a custom Control for Outlook contacts

I am in the process of creating a InfoPath Form and would like to add a Custom (Drop-Down Lookup) List that would select members emails address or names from Outlook. I need guidance in trying to accomplish this. Any suggestions ?
