That is our specialty.

Send me an email and I will show you examples of how you can integrate Sharepoint and SQL to have reporting and work flow and filtered lists.

Document Library woes!

The story:

I created an infopath form for purchase orders.

I published this form to a new document library on our sharepoint

works great. I got a document library full of XML files, that I can filter via promoted data.

Now some ungrateful individual wants a summary report based on this data... How dare they

I am missing something elementary here I know, but how do I get a dataset object from the XML files stored in the document library?

I thought of using an SQL database to store the info, but then I figured I'd loose the best effect of storing in a doc lib; i.e. a list full of completed forms that I can filter.

SO

I have a document library tipping over with XML data files representing company purchase orders but know way of producing an Excel report for accounts.

Can anyone suggest a solution or point me in the correct research direction please?
