Some simple ideas would be to have an email submit to you and then you could drag the email onto your calendar. You can setup the email submit to send you the info you care about most.

More sophisticated would be to create a workflow or have a backend database that collects the data and then you could have notifications from the data, with reporting etc.

It all depends on how cool you want it. If you are just trying to keep from missing deadlines or you want to integrate the form into your process. I have worked on similar forms that will create the AD account and many of the other components automatically for you so as an admin you have a lot of it done via HR or whomever's input.

if a box is checked specifying a user needs new hardware can you make infopath mark a note for a specified date on your outlook calendar???

I'm in charge of putting out hardware for my IT group and we're a
pretty big company so everytime someone new gets hired their supervisor
has to fill out an infopath new hire request form(integrated in
sharepoint 2007), which has basic info like (what day do they start, do
they need a computer, do they need a phone, what software do they need
etc.) is there a way to make it so when they make a check in the box
hardware needed it puts a note on my outlook calendar on the day that
they entered as the new hire's start date using the date picker???

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
