Were you able to get your forms working with DBXL? It will definitely be the easiest option for you since all of the web service code is written and thoroughly tested. I would be happy to do a demo for you if you can schedule some time to talk.

images and binary data

Hi all I am very new to all of this and I am definitely enjoying it very much I would happily accept advice regarding images I am a surgeon trying to setup a medical record system for the academic hospital unit in which I work.

Everything is currently on one PC and filled out by our interns.

I have successfully done the following

Setup a SQL server on the desktop

Setup infopath forms to submit and retrieve data from the server

I know want to put Xrays and some handwritten notes into the database.

I understand that I need to setup web services to do that.

I have downloaded the Qdabra application but it is limited and we do not have funds for anything at the moment (government hospital and all).

I would like to setup web services on the PC so that it can be used to submit and retrieve images. Can anyone give me a simple way of doing it?

Thank you kindly
