Then you could use buttons to switch to other views. Another option is to put your controls into sections and then hide / unhide these sections as neccessary (colapse / uncollapse). You also can tailor your tab properties to how you tab through your fields.

Typically I would make my form process multi-part and use views and a continue button or set up a menu / navigation view initially to let them choose which section to go to. This is usually preferabl to users instead of scrollling through a long form page. You can implement your navigation buttons on the top and mimic a tabbed application or allow them to quickly view it page by page instead.

Buttons verses Hyperlinks

Good Morning:

I have a very long InfoPath form and I want to do the following:

By eithering clicking a button or clicking a hyperlink, I want to jump to a different section of my form. I can not seem to figure out how to accomplish this. When I use the hyperlink option it brings up an About:blank IE page. When I use a button control with the on click event I do not know how to set the focus to a label or field that would advance the user to that section of the form.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this task??

Thanks!

Bill
