Set up to query and submit to your access table?

You should be able to populate multiple query fields before you initiate the query and they will be used in the query. You can have your dropdowns have rules to set the query fields with their values then have a button or on the second drop down initiate the query.

First I would just put your query fields and data fields on a form and play with entering multiple fields for your query. Once this is working, then try adding seperate fields with dropdowns and use them to populate the query fields. Step by step is how you learn.

Good luck.

looking up value in Access based on 2 values entered in Infopath form

I'm as big of a newbie as you can get. I want to thank everyone here b/c I've found so many answers just by looking in these forums. Here's one that I can't figure out. Everything I find is more complicated than what I need and way over my head.

I want to enter 2 fields on the form and have more fields then auto populate other fields on the form with values from my Access table. I can do this easy enough if I'm just using 1 field to lookup. The problem is that I need to base my lookup on 2 fields and I can't figure out how to do this.

(ETA: The 2 fields used are drop down lists.)

Thanks in advance.
