You should make sure that one of the /myFields/queryFields is not set to something that will prevent the Employee column from being returned. I don't know what the problem is, but to help debug I'm sure it would be helpful to put every single node on the view as a field, and then watch the values as you see the problem occur. Surely with this you can see why things are happening they way they are.

Re: Secondary Datasource problem

just to make everything clear:
there is only 1 dropdownbox containing the EmployeeID en showing the EmployeeName.

My Drop-Down List Box Properties
Binding
Field name = EmployeeID

List box proberties
Data Connection: ActiveEmployees
Entries: /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:EMPLOYEE[@OrgUnitDescr = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:LOCALSALES/@OrgUnitDescr]
Value: @EmployeeID
Display name: @Employee (Employee contains the employeename)

After I run a query, I get to see the EmployeeID and not the Employee.
