You can use the how-to section and look at getting the user name from SharePoint. This would be very similiar but instead of working with the filename to find the user you could use the user or the date stamp to find the name of the file you are working with.

Clay

Get Name Form in InfoPath Form

Hello,

I have a problem with Form services.
In my form, i have a control (string) = "Name of form"
When the form FCxxxx.xml is open in Internet Explorer,
I want to set the control "Name of form" to the value FCxxxx.xml (the name of the current open form).

Have you any solution ?
