If you dont want to send the form as attachment, don't mention any name in the form attachment field in the email dataconnection.

Hi guys,

I've had a look through the forums but the email threads i have found so far didn't seem to cover what I am trying to do.

My problem is sort of two-fold.

I want to automatically send an email once a form has been saved.
The sending part is not an issue as I've seen a few threads
about this here and the email adapter one works very nicely.

What I'd like to know is:

1. Is it possible to send email programmatically (say via Jscript) withOUT the user having to click any sort of confirmation. Say similar to what you could do in ASP with CDONTs etc.

2. If the above is not possible, is it at least possible to using the email adapter method mentioned below to send an email withOUT the current form being attached?

I've tried all sorts of things with the email adapter approach (i.e. setting the attachment name parameter to false or '' but none of that works.

Any help would be much appreciated. I also have another question, but I'll open a new thread for that.
